Horrid Tales of the IT Crypt – Intro – #0001

I worked in the computer industry for over 20 years, most of it as an IT manager and technical support.  One day 20 years back I came across an article with tech support but funny bloopers, that cam e from real life incidents. The stories were so hilarious and funny, all I can tell you is that I and my coworkers gathered around my desk in the office and had great laugh reading the stories one after the other.  After I was done I made sure that a copy of that article got pined on the wall near my desk.  I wished I still had a copy of that article, but I did search the internet vigorously for it, never to find it again, but some of the best stories I read on that day resurfaced.  For those stories to still be around after 25 years is a testimony of time.  With that said welcome to my new category on this Blog – Horrid Tales of the IT Crypt.  The stories in this blog section are not mines but I wished I knew the original authors or IT managers who wrote them to give them credit were due. I will start with a small incident and I will be adding more time permitting.
